Halloween Orange LightsThe very first way to give your home a very Halloween-ish look is by changing the white light bulbs in your indoor and outdoor lanterns and lights into orange bulbs. You can find orange bulbs in any good retailer store. Whenever you prefer to use Halloween lit garlands, it's great too. Halloween garlands come in different shapes: mini pumpkins, ghosts, vampires, skulls or mummies and aren't extremely expensive. Hang one garland around the front door and some others in the living room. Homemade Halloween LightsThe second way to make inexpensive Halloween lights is to make your own Halloween lanterns at home. For such a crafts, you'll just need paper lunch bags, a cutter or a pair of scissors, a black marker and some paintings. Take each bag and draw a Halloween shape on each of them - make one with a pumpkin, another one with a ghost, a third one with a vampire, then a mummy, a bat, etc. With a cutter or scissors, cut the eyes, nose and mouth of your character, then paint the bag in any Halloween-ish color that you best like. Once the paint on the bags dried, fill each bag with 1 or 2 cups sand, place a candle in a glass container and place the glass into the sand. Light the candles at dusk - whether on Halloween night or each day during the last 14 days before Halloween. Place these homemade Halloween lights along the walkway up to your front door or near the windows if you want to use them indoor.
