2010 Historical Costume Ideas For Halloween

Halloween is born from a mixture of Celtic customs.

In Europe, Halloween is All Saints Day, which takes place on November 1st.

At the end of the 20th century, Halloween was adopted by the majority of western countries.

If, for countries where Halloween was born, the disguise was a way of going unnoticed by the spirits, in Catholic countries, the disguise is a Carnival custom.

There are several centuries, Carnival was a period that allowed Catholics to do all what they wanted before Lent, and they were masked to avoid being recognized by the others because almost everything was allowed.
